BE BRAVE, DO NOT FEAR

BE BRAVE, DO NOT FEAR
Ing. Marianna Štrbíková, Marianna Štrbíková

How many times did we hear this sentence from our parents during childhood? And how many times have we said it to our own children? Often, feelings of fear and anxiety are simply beyond our control.

In the context of BAZI and traditional Chinese medicine, an excess or deficiency of WATER (one of the five elements) can manifest in various ways. Water is the source of life energy (QI) and vitality. At the same time, it is associated with the emotion of fear and anxiety, an inability to handle stress, or cold extremities.

How can these manifestations be distinguished?

Some symptoms of both water excess and deficiency may overlap, as both states affect the same organs and systems, though the mechanisms of their development differ. For example:

  • Cold extremities may result from reduced metabolism and circulation, present in both water excess and deficiency.
  • Fear and anxiety can stem from emotional imbalance tied to the water element. An excess of water can lead to heightened fear, while a deficiency may cause an inability to handle stress, fatigue, weakness, and low energy levels.

Which organs are most affected by the water element?

The kidneys, bladder, bones, and hearing are particularly influenced. The energy of the kidneys propels us forward, giving us the courage to explore new things, embrace new experiences, and make positive changes. On the other hand, their negative energy is expressed as fear. Fortunately, by strengthening the kidneys, this fear can be mitigated

How can we do this?

By focusing on both our PHYSICAL and MENTAL well-being:.

  • Nutrition: Consume foods that support the kidneys and the water element, such as fish, seafood, beans, nuts, dark leafy greens, and black sesame seeds.
  • Hydration: Maintain an adequate intake of fluids.
  • Rest and sleep: Ensure sufficient rest and sleep to strengthen the kidneys and restore energy.
  • Exercise and meditation: Practices like Qi Gong and Tai Chi can help strengthen the kidneys and balance the water element in the body.

FunFact: Did you know that your kidneys are also responsible for when your hair begins to turn gray? If this organ is well-nourished, graying occurs later in life.

My personal experience:

Working with the BAZI technique has given me a completely different perspective, not only on health and nutrition but on life as a whole. Through BAZI analysis, I have come to understand myself better—my strengths, potential, and hidden talents. I am grateful that through BAZI, I can identify health predispositions early and thus prevent various serious illnesses. However, it is essential to note that BAZI does not replace medical examinations.

And how could BAZI change your life?

My name is  Marianna Štrbíková and I am
