LUNGS AS A SOURCE OF OPTIMISM

LUNGS AS A SOURCE OF OPTIMISM
Ing. Marianna Štrbíková, Marianna Štrbíková

A client called me late in the evening. She shared that, without any clear reason, she had been crying constantly, seeing everything in a negative light, feeling a heaviness in her chest, and experiencing difficulty breathing. She was struggling to handle even everyday situations.

She asked me to look into her BAZI chart, and since I had her birth date and time, I couldn’t resist checking, even though it was late.

Her BAZI revealed a lack of the Metal element. This element is essential for bringing joy and positivity into our lives. When it is absent, the lungs—which belong to the Metal element in Chinese metaphysics—are most affected. Proper lung function provides the energy we need to feel uplifted and balanced. Without it, emotions such as sadness and grief can take over.

What’s the best solution?

Breathing exercises. One common cause of improper breathing is congested lungs, which prevent air from circulating as it should. This results in an oxygen deficiency in the body.

And what’s the most effective breathing exercise?

SINGING and LAUGHTER. Yes, you heard that right—singing and laughing are incredibly effective tools for improving mood.

How can diet help?

To support the lungs, include the following foods in your diet:

  • Grains and herbs: Barley, white and brown rice, parsley, sage, dill
  • Spices: Garlic, chives, cayenne pepper, shallots, savory, basil
  • Fruits and vegetables: Apples, pears, plums, kohlrabi

Avoid dairy products, as they can contribute to mucus buildup in the lungs.

My perspective:

I’m grateful that, through BAZI, I can help people like my client understand what is happening in their lives and guide them toward practical solutions. Helping others find relief and ease in their lives is what makes my work so fulfilling.
